Nickit and Thievul Make Their GO Debut

On March 19 through March 24, players will be able to take part in the Deep Depths event. During this event, players will finally be able to catch the Galarian fox Pokémon, Nickit. Players who are dedicated enough can evolve it into Thievul for 50 Nickit Candies. Not only that, but players can also benefit from the following the event bonuses:

• 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event.
• Increased chance to encounter and hatch Shiny Clauncher

Wild Encounters

Players will have a chance to encounter the following Pokémon more frequently in the wild. Players will also have an increased chance to encounter Shiny Clauncher.

As said above, people will also be able to find Nickit, but, most importantly, they’ll have a chance to find a shiny Nickit, along with the other Pokémon on this list. So, players should try to find as many Nickits as possible to get their shiny fox.

The following Pokémon will hatch from 7 km Eggs:

Galarian Corsola

Pawniard

Clauncher

Nickit

Players will be given themed field research throughout the events and will be able to encounter themed Pokémon for completing them.

Timed Research

Finally, players will also be able to complete Timed Research that may last only til the event is over. Here are the rewards for the research:

• 10 Kubfu Candy
• One Mysterious Component
• Encounters with event-themed Pokémon
• 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon after completing the Timed Research

Players can also pick up paid timed research for 2 dollars USD. The rewards for that are as follows:

• Two Super Incubators
• One Star Piece
• Encounters with Clauncher and Nickit
