Trainers, the time has come to choose the light of flame or the shroud of darkness. This event has engaged with players in a different way by offering a branched path system with this research. This piece will serve as a guide for the Dark Flames Fire Path.

The following are the tasks players need to complete in order to unlock the fork in the road:
Explore 2 km
Catch 2 fire or dark type Pokémon
Catch 10 different species of Pokémon
The rewards for doing this are 3 Rare Candies, 5 Razz Berries, 1,000 Stardust. Once these rewards are claimed, players will be able to choose which path they want to go down. This piece will be for the Path of Fire. For those interested in the Path of Dark, there will be another piece for that.
Catch 20 fire-type Pokémon
Power up 10 fire-type Pokémon
Take 25 snapshots of wild fire-type Pokémon
Rewards: 10 Pokeballs, 10 Pinap Berries, a Slugma Encounter. Total completion nets the player 2,500 XP, 15 Pokeballs, and 1,500 Stardust
Purify 1 fire-type shadow Pokémon (10 Great Balls)
Power up 10 fire-type Pokémon (Alolan Marowak encounter)
Evolve 3 fire-type Pokémon (Darumaka encounter)
Rewards: 10 Great Balls and encounters with Alolan Marowak and Darumaka; Total completion nets the player 5,000 XP, 1 Premium Battle Pass, and 2,000 Stardust.
Catch 20 fire-type Pokémon (3 Silver Pinap Berries)
Power up 10 fire-type Pokémon (10 Ultra Balls)
Battle in 3 raids (Houndoom encounter)
Rewards: 3 Silver Pinap Berries, 10 Ultra Balls, and an encounter with Houndoom; 7,500 XP, 50 Litten Candy, 2,500 Stardust for total completion.
Paired with the GO Battle Weekend, this is the perfect opportunity for players to farm rare candies, especially with the first step completed.
The Fire Path for the Pokémon GO Dark Flames event is a prime opportunity for fire Pokémon fans. It’s also a good way to catch fan-favorite fiery friends and evolve the ones players already have. Don’t waste time not setting the streets ablaze, trainers. Get out there and burn those raid bosses.
