Research Step 1

Rewards: 10 Poké Balls, 10 Pinap Berries, and an encounter with Carvanha. Total completion will net the players 2,500 XP, 15 Poké Balls, and 1,500 Stardust.

Research Step 3

Purify 1 dark-type shadow Pokémon (10 Great Balls)

Power up 10 dark-type Pokémon (Sneasel encounter)

Evolve 3 dark-type Pokémon (Scraggy encounter)

Rewards: 10 Great Balls and encounters with Sneasel and Scraggy; Total completion nets the player 5,000 XP, 1 Premium Battle Pass, and 2,000 Stardust.

Research 4

Catch 20 dark-type Pokémon (3 Silver Pinap Berries)

Power up 10 dark-type Pokémon (10 Ultra Balls)

Battle in 3 raids (Houndoom encounter)

Rewards: 3 Silver Pinap Berries, 10 Ultra Balls, and an encounter with Houndoom; 7,500 XP, 50 Litten Candy, and 2,500 Stardust for total completion.
