Trainers, one other event to add to the February calendar is Chansey Community Day. Chansey is a sought-after Pokemon in GO and the main series. This piece will go into all the information the community currently knows to prepare.
Make February a Month of Healing
Starting February 4, players will be able to partake in Chansey Community Day from 2 pm to 5 pm. If players are lucky, they will be able to encounter a shiny Chansey. On top of that, if players can get enough Chansey to evolve during that time, their Blissey will end up knowing Wild Charge.
On top of that, there’s also a Community Day Special Research story. For $1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access the Chansey Community Day–exclusive Special Research story. Stay tuned for when tickets for the Special Research story go live and don’t forget, trainers, tickets can be gifted to any friends that have a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher.
Tickets are nonrefundable and this Special Research will also not include an in-game medal.
2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
1/4 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in Incubators during the event period.
2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.*
Trades will require 50% less Stardust.*
Happiny has a chance of hatching from 2 km Eggs obtained during February Community Day. Happiny that hatch from these Eggs will have the same chance of appearing as a Shiny Pokémon as Chansey that appears during the Community Day.
Players should also keep in mind that Happiny are more likely to hatch from their eggs shiny.
That is all the info on Chansey Community Day. Players should set aside the time and resources to make sure they can get as many Chansey as they can get. Have fun, players.
