Trainers, a lot of side Pokémon animated content is being developed by the company. Path to the Peak and Paldean Winds are only two in the reservoir of side anime the company is making. This piece will go into the known details of the new Live Action Drama series Pokémon is getting.
On October 19, Pokémon will be airing the premiere of Cram Adventures into a Pocket, or, PokéTsume. This is the franchise’s first live-action drama. The story will hit audiences differently than other media directed primarily at kids.
The show will follow a relatable office worker, Madoka Akagi, played by actress Nanase Nishino. It opens with her recently out-of-college trying to navigate the world. Then one day, when she gets a care package from her Mom, she starts getting back into the world of Pokémon through a Gen 1 game (Pokémon Red Version).
After the premiere, the series will drop new episodes every Thursday. Viewers can catch the original broadcasts on TV Tokyo, BS TV Tokyo, and TV Tokyo 4K. For less scheduled viewings, fans can watch it on the streaming platform, U-Next.
Unfortunately, this series is restricted to Japanese viewers only, but that doesn’t mean an international release is out of the realm of possibility. Not that it is necessary, but if fans in other countries really want to watch Pokétsume, getting a VPN is a valid option.
This is the currently known info on Pokémon’s New Live Action Drama. This is an interesting choice of product, but it shows that Pokémon is really intent on reaching into other genre territories. Hopefully, it will see international release at some point.
