Trainers, this time, the cart is behind the Mudsdale. HOME connectivity with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet finally has a confirmed release date. Finally, players will be able to seamlessly transfer Pokémon from other games into the Paldea region without having to slave over the broken, messy tera raids. This piece will inform players of the actual release date for Pokémon HOME Gen 9 connectivity.
As confirmed by the Pokémon Company, Pokémon HOME will be updated to be compatible with Gen 9 on May 30. This was announced on the Pokémon Company’s Japanese Twitter account. On May 29, at 5pm, Pokémon HOME will be going under maintenance. It will not be available until the next day.
As many players know, while the tera raids start off fun, they are a buggy mess when you get to the upper echelons of them. 6 and 7-star raids feel tedious and near impossible due to poor performance. Bosses are consistently cutting off players due to the lack of turn order and the lag keeps players from acting efficiently.
And despite patches coming out for the game, none of them adequately solve any of the problems, except for the Play Rough bug that kept bosses from losing health. On top of that, if players are unlucky, the raid will lag so hard that it keeps them frozen in a menu long after they’ve pressed A on an option.
Once the company updates HOME, players will be able to transfer any of the raid Pokémon they missed out on into Gen 9. These include Typhlosion, Decidueye, Greninja, and other popular mons. Once the update hits, the Game Haus will release info on the transferable Pokémon.
Fans have waited for Pokémon HOME Gen 9 connectivity forever. Finally, it is on the horizon. As much as the community loves tera raids, they are too fundamentally broken. Once the company updates HOME, players should go ham on starting the unofficial part of their dex.
