New Dipplin Evolution Leaked: Here is What It Could Look Like

Pokemon continues to bring out new and interesting additions to its roster. One that was a surprise but a pleasant one was Dipplin, the third evolution of Applin. In just a few generations Applin has clearly become worthy of The Pokemon Company’s attention. The grass and dragon Pokemon are not exactly unique in their typing but are strong. It looks like this Pokemon will be getting a third stage as well. Here is what the leaked, New Dipplin Evolution might look like.

Dipplin Evolution Theories

There have been some theories of a Dipplin Evolution since The Teal Mask was released back in September. The fact that Applin had even received a third evolution was completely unexpected. But once the festival in The Teal Mask was revealed, it made a lot more sense. Candy Apples and the Apple Orchards of Kitakami are a major part of the story and Applin if the main apple Pokemon.

Moving onto Dipplin, it would seem as though its story is very much connected with Kieran. He is one of the main characters in the Scarlet and Violet DLC. At the end of The Teal Mask things were a bit rocky with the new Rival. And his main team had a Dipplin.

So it makes sense that a third evolution in the Applin line could make its appearance. With that, one of the main leakers for Pokemon, Riddler Khu, has been posting quite a bit about Dipplin and its evolution.

Riddler Khu is known for making odd puzzles to lead fans to an answer about something happening in Pokemon. Whether that be the games, shows or even new games. They posted recently about what the Dipplin Evolution could look like. Click here for the Tweet or look below for the image they posted.

The clues surrounding this one are certainly interesting. First there is the obvious. Hydreigon and Vulcarona combine to become the third Applin evolution. It would seem as though it is going to have multiple heads like a hydra. The Vulcarona being added is a bit curious though.

Could it be the wings from it? Or the body shape.

It seems most likely that it is still in the apple with multiple heads and wings.

But couldn’t this also signify typing? We already know that it is a dragon but could it be the first bug and dragon-type Pokemon? This is not impossible and many people are theorizing this could be the case.

Regardless, there is a good chance that we will learn more in the next few days with the release date only a short time away.
