Morpeko Comes to Pokemon GO Soon

Trainers, Morpeko is one of the more interesting Pikachu clones. Not only does it have the Electric/Dark typing, but it can also change forms (Hangry Form). While not much different from other Pikachu clones, its gimmick offers enough to make it somewhat viable in the main game. Can this translate to other games? Players will find out after Morpeko comes to Pokemon GO.

Morpeko is the Next Generation 8 Pokemon to Come to GO

On August 18, Pokemon GO announced that Morpeko will be added to Pokemon GO. This hamster will also change the way battles work. Morpeko, along with certain other Pokemon, will be able to change form in battle by using a Charged Attack. In Morpeko’s case, using a charged attack procs its Hangry Form.

There is currently no release date for Morpeko set on the Pokemon GO news site. However, given that a new season is around the corner (with hints of Galar coming to GO in full), it may be around the start of that new season. Only time will tell as Shared Skies comes to a close.
