How to Get the Glimmering Charm in the Teal Mask

Trainers, by now everyone is either almost done with the Kitakami Dex or completely done already. Similar to the shiny charm, there is a reward for finishing the Kitakami Dex. This piece will tell players how to get the Glimmering Charm in the Teal Mask DLC.

What is The Glimmering Charm?

The Glimmering Charm is a brand new Pokédex reward introduced in the DLC. It is a charm that will increase the number of tera shards players earn from doing tera raid battles. This would greatly reduce the time players spend farming the necessary raids to get to 50 tera shards of a specific type. This, with the shiny charm, makes hunts significantly less of a chore.

Complete the Kitakami Pokédex to Get the Glimmering Charm

In order to get the Glimmering Charm from Jacq, players need to catch all 200 Pokémon in the Kitakami Pokédex. While this seems like a daunting task, it doesn’t have to be. If players already completed the 400 entries in the main Paldea dex, they will see that they have 150 entries in the Kitakami dex filled out.

Players just need all 50 new additions to the DLC and they’ll have enough for the Glimmering Charm. Here are some ways players can accomplish this feat:

Tera Raids: Do any tera raids. This will help players catch fully evolved Pokémon easily. Then, all they need to do is breed their raid catch and get the pre-evolved forms.

Touch Trade with Friends: A touch trade is a trade in which players give each other Pokémon they don’t have for the dex entry and then give them back. This is the easiest way for players to register legendaries and version exclusives if they don’t have the patience to get them. Or the money to buy both versions (or the lack of sense).

Play with Friends: The final method is to form union circles with friends. If Scarlet players are playing with Violet players, they will be able to get the spawns from the other version. However, this can cause a bit of lag in the overworld. Therefore, people may default to touch trading.

Conclusion

This is how players can get the Glimmering Charm in the Teal Mask DLC of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This is a great new addition that can help players prepare their designated terastalizers for competitive play. Completing the dex has always seemed like a daunting task, but it’s never been easier in this generation.

Get out there and get that glimmer, trainers.
