How to Evolve Girafarig into Farigiraf

There are a lot of new Pokemon coming with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Some of them are evolutions of older Pokemon, new forms of previous Pokemon or just completely new Pokemon. This is part of what makes new Pokemon games so much fun. A Pokemon that may have been forgotten about was Girafarig, the Giraffe-looking Pokemon from Silver and Gold. Now it is getting a brand new evolution. Here is how to evolve Girafarig into Farigiraf.

Girafarig came out in Gen 2 with Pokemon Silver and Gold. These games were the first to release Dark Type Pokemon. Many thought that Girafarig would be a Dark Pokemon, but it turned out to be Psychic. And in recent years has become a Normal and Psychic Pokemon.

There were many who felt that this Pokemon was not strong enough for being a non-evolving Pokemon. This was much of the reason that it was probably forgotten about by most people. It was also not a Pokemon found in many of the recent games. This has all changed with the addition of Farigiraf in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

While staying the same typing, Farigiraf does get a nice power boost in its base stats. This will help make it more useable not just in a normal playthrough but potentially in competitive as well.

Now onto how to Evolve Girafarig into Farigiraf.

Players will have to level up Girafarig while it knows the move Twin Beam. This is a move that Girafarig will learn naturally at level 32 in the game. Then players just have to get it to level 33 and they will have evolved their Girafarig to Farigiraf.
