Gym Puzzle

To start, trainers will have to complete the Medali City Gym Puzzle. Once this is completed they can battle the Gym Leader Larry.

Task: Order a Special Secret Menu Item

This is the Pokemon Scarlet Secret Menu Item and the Pokemon Violet Secret Menu Item. They are the same.

This is at the Treasure Eatery. Three other trainers have a clue and the player character is given one as well. The player has to beat the three other trainers and combine all the clues to figure out what to order.

  • Player Character Clue: “Find Out How the Regulars Season their Dishes”

    • Talk to the character in a suit at the grill and they say a “Lemon”

  • Trainer 1 Clue: “Look for A Dark Spot Surrounded by Stairs”

    • Their clue is at the bottom of the amphitheater “Fire Blast”

  • Trainer 2 Clue: “Lok for Something that The Odd One Out of the Ice Cream Stands”

    • Players have to look for the one with the Grilled Rice Balls. This will be the stand with a Blue cone and should be next to the street.

  • Trainer 3 Clue: “Listen Closely to the Blue Bird Pokemon”

    • Near this trainer is a man with a Blue Sqauwkabilly that he says can talk. It says, “Meedyum” as in Medium.

  • After this, head back to the restaurant and talk to the person in the green apron at the front. then choose:

    • Grilled Rice Balls
    • Medium Serving
    • Extra Crispy, Fire Blast Style
    • Lemon

Gym Leader and Pokemon

Medali Gym

Gym Leader: Larry

Gym Pokemon:

  • Komala

    • Normal

  • Dudunsparce

    • Level 35
    • Normal

  • Staraptor

    • Level 36
    • Flying and Normal (Normal Tera Type)

This gym will not be overly challenging as players can bring in a Fighting Type Pokemon to take out the first two. If they pick Quaxly as a starter they should have Quaquaval by this point which means it will be a fighting type.
