Humans aren’t the only living beings who enjoy celebrating the start of a new year. Certain Dragon-type Pokémon are also in the spirit of celebrating new beginnings. This piece will be the public’s gateway to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s dragon mass outbreaks.
Until January 3, players can catch special dragon-type Pokémon in all 3 Scarlet and Violet maps. All three species will hold the Joyful Mark for those who like to collect their Pokémon with different special marks.
The species in question are Dratini, Duraludon, and Jangmo-o. Players can find each of them in different parts of the overworld. Dratini can be found on mainland Paldea, Jangmo-o can be found in the land of Kitakami, and Duraludon can be found in the Polar Biome in Blueberry Academy’s terrarium.
They are each found in the area they were added to the game in. Each of these dragons is competitively viable as well, so players should have a fun time choosing one if they want to make a competitive team. Not to mention, due to them being mass outbreaks, getting them shiny will also be easier. Take advantage of this, shiny hunters.
Players now know everything about the New Year dragon mass outbreaks. This is a good opportunity to get new dragon types to start the year off. Dragonite and Kommo-o are also still good enough to stand with Archaludon in the current meta. So, go ham, battle maniacs, shiny fiends, and mark collectors.
