Cortondo is a city in the southwest of Paldea and perfectly situated between the edge of the map and the middle. This is the home of the Cortondo City Pokemon Gym and is one of the Gyms players will need to beat in order to complete the Gym Leader story in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Here is a breakdown of the Cortondo City Pokemon Gym including the Leader, Type of Pokemon, the Leader’s Pokemon and how to complete the Gym Puzzle.

To start, trainers will have to complete the Cortondo City Gym Puzzle. Once this is completed they can battle the Gym Leader Katy.
Task: Take on the Olive Roll
The Olive Harvest Festival is going on and players will have to roll an Olive to the Finish line. Players can find this challenge to the North of the Town.

Gym Pokemon:
If the player starts with Fuecoco this will be a very easy gym to take down. Even if not, there are plenty of early-game Pokemon that should have a Fire or Rock move to take care of the first two Pokemon. After that players will want something with a Fighting-type move to quickly make work of the Teddiursa.
