
Outbreaks have been a feature of gameplay carried over from Gen 8 to recent games. However, mass outbreak events are a new thing brought into Scarlet and Violet after the release of the Teal Mask. This piece will go into detail on the first mass outbreak event: Clefairy.
Until October 1, players will be able to interact and catch multiple outbreaks of Clefairy. Despite the fact that Clefairy can only be found in Kitakami, outbreaks will also happen in Paldea proper. Since this will most likely happen at night in the game, players should equip themselves with quick, timer, and dusk balls in order to increase their chance of catching as many Clefairy as they can.
