Path of Exile has been one of the most popular games of its genre for a while now. It was released on PC back in October of 2013 and has been loved by Action Role-Playing game fans for quite some time. The Action RPG genre has grown in recent years. Especially with how well the Diablo games have done. Players who loved Diablo 3 played and beat the game but those who did get bored or just wanted something fresh were left with nothing. While Diablo 4 was released recently, to the excitement of many, there was a hole left for those who loved that style.
In stepped Path of Exile.
The game had a similar feel to Diablo but was much more open to players who loved MMOs as well. Because of this, fans flocked to the game making it one of the bigger ones in the world. The game features a good mix of things to do while also allowing for friends to play together. It helped that the gameplay was also solid.
Now, while fans have been enjoying the expansions, they have been wondering where the second Path of Exile is.
When looking at the Path of Exile 2 Release Date, there sadly is not one at this moment. There was a recent trailer that gave fans hope that it could be coming out in 2024. There is a chance of this happening for Holiday 2024 but that feels unlikely at this point.
As of now, all signs are pointing to a 2025 release date. Path of Exile is a big game and a second one would take some time. Depending on how long it has already been worked on would give an idea as to when fans should expect to see it.
