Overwatch Season 2 Release Date, New Heroes And More!

The folks over at Blizzard are cooking up and putting the final touches on Overwatch 2 Season 2 before its set release date next week. This is one of the biggest updates of the game this year, bringing along a brand new character, new maps, and so many more changes. So gamers are all caught up before the launch of the new season. Here is everything to be expected before the official Overwatch Season 2 release date.

When Does Overwatch Season 2 Launch

The newest season of Overwatch 2 will begin on Tuesday, April 14, at 7 PM GMT. Now with time zones being time zones, not everybody will have the same launch time. Here are all of the launch times for the new OW season across 7 different locations.

Overwatch Season 2 New Additions

New Hero

Not much has been revealed about the newest Overwatch hero. From different teasers, leaks, and more, what we do know is that the new hero will most likely be Hero 51. From artwork shes made out to be a DPS or at least a support character, wielding a rifle, and is paired with a drone of sorts. With all of this evidence, we can only infer that we have a soldier about to hit the battlefield. Hero 51 will be following the release of new heroes Jetpack Cat, Domina, Ere, Mizuki, and Anran, since Overwatch 2 reverted to just Overwatch. None of the characters’ skills have been released or leaked as of now.
