Trials of Sanctuary PvE Mode
Starting off players are introduced to a new event mode called Trials of Sanctuary. Here players are tasked to defeat hellish monsters (demonic-looking Null Sector bots) and bosses. Much like the PvE Story Missions, it seems that players are given a select choice of heroes to pick from. There are a few skins that are tied to this event that players can earn. These skins also give off a Diablo IV vibe that was previously leaked a few weeks ago. It’s nice to see them finally in action. Those skins are the following.
- Lilith Moira
- Inarius Pharah
- Imperious Reinhardt
- Azmodan Wreckingball
New Control Map Samoa
Samoa is a new Control map that’s coming to the game. The map itself takes place on a tropical island that is surrounded by palm trees and volcanoes. The three different control points in the map are Beach, Downtown, and Valcanoe, which all have their own theme and Samoan aura about them.
Sombra and Roadhog Rework
Sombra and Roadhog will be getting an overhaul to their abilities and playstyle. While we don’t know a ton yet, Sombra will be getting new damage over time ability. She has a new passive called Stealth, her Translocator received a re-work, and has a new ability called Virus. Overall, she will also be receiving a more active playstyle when involved in fights. Roadhog’s re-work will be coming later mid Season 7, so we don’t know anything at the moment. Very sad indeed. But at least Sombra players will be involved in the action more.
