A new indie soccer game called Rematch is now live, to the tune of over one million unique players in its first day. But, since then, how many people are playing the new game?
According to SteamCharts, Rematch peaked at launch with a concurrent player count of 91,374. However, this is just on Steam and does not account for the many console players trying out the game, so the active figure is likely much higher.
According to developers, Rematch peaked at over one million unique players in the game’s first 24 hours, showing just how many players hopped onto the new arcade soccer game.
This comes after a very successful Beta playtest, but with some slightly bitter news about a lack of crossplay at launch. However, even still, Rematch appears to be a huge success getting started and will be a game that we will be keeping an eye on here at The Game Haus.
