The developers plan on having downloadable content, introducing more new characters into the game. And leaks revealed the Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections DLC, teasing five new characters. Of course, this isn’t an official reveal — therefore take the information with a grain of salt. But here are all five Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections DLC new characters.

The Ultimate Ninja Storm connection DLC wave 1 new characters were datamined to be:
A dataminer discovered file names with these titles, warranting their potential release in the game. And of course, this is in no way an official announcement. But their releases make a ton of sense. They’re all related to the Otsutsuki, which are key figures in the Boruto anime and manga. In addition, Kawaki and Boruto do not have their Otsutsuki, or Karma, forms in the game. Saving these flagship character forms releases for Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections DLC seems almost inevitable, considering the game is first and foremost a Boruto game.
There is no release date quite yet for the first wave of DLC.
To be honest, Storm Connections doesn’t have enough new characters in the base game. Though it’s cool the game will be receiving updates, these new characters should have been available upon the initial release — not saved for microtransactions to make more money. Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections does a terrible job providing value for its full price, and the release of purchasable and honestly quite expensive DLC definitely does not help its case whatsoever.
