Naraka Bladepoint has got back into the gaming spotlight after going free to play and arriving on PlayStation consoles. With new players flocking toward the melee-focused battle royale, who is the Naraka Bladepoint best Hero in 2023?
It’s important to understand regardless of where characters are ranked in the tier list any character can be utilized in Naraka. This means you can play the best character and still lose or play the worst character and still win.

S Tier
Matari
The number one spot on this Naraka BladePoint Tier List goes to Matari. Matari is a character that is easy for new players to pick up and easily learn. While she doesn’t wield any impressive damage she makes up for it with her amazing mobility. Matari’s skills allow her to teleport around the map. Although it’s only a short distance it comes in handy whether outmaneuvering the storm circle or evading and pushing enemies. Matari’s ultimate turns her invisible whenever she doesn’t move. While it can be utilized as a defensive tactic, players can choose to move around leaving a trail behind, and backstab the enemy.
Yoto Hime
Yoto Hime is the definition of a powerhouse. Paired with a good healer she can become a menace on the battlefield. In the beginning, it will be somewhat difficult to learn her but once mastered Yoto Hime is a force to be reckoned with. Yoto Hime can throw her sword forward, spinning in the air and hitting anyone in its path. Yoto Hime can teleport to the sword making opportunities for brutal combos. Her ultimate is great for crowd control. She goes into the air and deals deadly slashes from her sword cutting down anyone in its way. Additionally this ultimate recovers Yoto Hime’s armor and health with each hit. As previously stated, the definition of a powerhouse.
Tianhai
Tianhai can be both a support and offensive character depending on the playstyle. He can block incoming focus attacks and repels ranged attacks. In tight situations, this can come in handy. Tianhai’s ultimate turns him into a Vajra. He can grab and smash opponents dealing a lot of damage. In squads, most enemies are distracted when Tianhai is in this form leaving them open. If Tianhai grabs an ally he can heal them.
ZaI
While on the S-Rank for right now Zai is only being carried by her ultimate currently. With her Chain Scythe, she can deal AOE damage to the enemy when her blade fully charges. The newest heroine on the roster is one of the best duelist characters with high mobility and with her sudden burst damage
A Tier
Yueshan
Yueshan is a more tactical version of Yoto Hime. He can interrupt enemy combos and knock them back. These skills can help make openings in battle. His ultimate gives him a new weapon and abilities that are effective at driving enemies back. Yueshan is a good pick for an all-around character.
Feria Shen
While more prioritized for Co-op battles Feria can also go on solo battles on her own. With the help of her mechs and gunplay, she’s greater for creating openings and space between her and the enemy. Whether it’s chasing down enemies or simply creating escape windows Feria is definitely someone players should experiment with and get to know.
Tarka Ji
The drunk warrior Tarka Ji launch fireballs as a skill to keep enemies at bay. His ultimate increases his movement speed and lets him burn opponents if he makes any contact with them. He’s good for finishing off fleeing opponents.
Karumi
Karumi is a character that most players would rank at the bottom of their Naraka: BladePoint tier list. She is a great healer for trios or duo matches but when it comes to solo matches she is deemed almost useless. However, when paired with the right squad Karumi becomes a great ally to have. Her skill allows her to tether herself to an ally to heal them, or herself. Her ultimate creates a field that heals allies and removes any negative effects. It’s true that Karumi by herself puts her at a disadvantage, but can change the tide of battle with reliable teammates.
B Tier
Wuchen
Wuchen is also the support of all the warriors a solo fighter. He can fire spectral blades at enemies to keep them at a safe distance. His ultimate allows him to teleport his squad away from harm and provide a temporary attack buff.
Justina Gu
Justina relies too heavily on her ultimate to do any real damage. Her ultimate not only increases her attack power with each strike it freezes enemies. Her other skill traps her and her allies in ice. In this state, all damage is nullified and can restore armor. While this skill can end combos once it’s over Justina and her team can easily get out and put into another combo. Justina’s ability to freeze enemies is what saves her from going to a lower-tier
Valda Cui
One of the most technical characters in the game and has quite the learning curve. Valda Cui’s skills are all about restricting enemy movements and can use traps to buff attacks. The downside to using Valada is she’s a punching bag in solos. It’s best to play her in teams if players want a chance to effectively use her abilities.
Ako Hu
Akos Hu has good DPS and mobility but will always be the first in combat being such an aggressive character. Being one of the most difficult characters in the game due to his kit, it will take some practice to fully wield this behemoth of a character. Players will rely only on his ultimate to truly turn the tide of battle
C Tier
Viper Ning
The tutorial warrior is at the bottom of this list due to the fact her moves do little damage. One of her moves can interrupt focus attacks but all characters can do that already by parrying. Her ultimate can stun multiple enemies but takes time to charge it up leaving her open. It takes a really skilled squad to protect her while this is happening.
Temulch
Temulch is the tank character meaning he has little to no mobility. His ultimate can slow opponents and has a skill where he can throw projectiles at enemies. He just becomes too much of a target, especially when met with multiple groups.
Takeda Nobutada
Takedacna counters focus attacks and disarm his attacker. Just like with Viper Ning, most characters can parry so it’s not exactly an essential skill. His ultimate summons a demon that launches a barrage of slashes. It does moderate damage so it’s not too bad in most situations. Takeda can also teleport to it which is an added bonus.
