As a competitive battle royal, understanding which characters are the best is essential to understanding the meta. And by gaining a general knowledge of the meta, players can better commit their time to mastering the greatest characters. Here is a My Hero Ultra Rumble Tier List, ranking the heroes by their officially showcased win rates.
Keep in mind, every character in the game is viable. Some characters are undeniably easier to win with than others. In addition, overall win rates are strong indicators of a character’s strength, and often used as statistical indicators. But they’re not necessarily the end all be all.
This character is in a tier of his own. When directly comparing win rates, he’s a solid 1.6% higher than the second place hero, Mt. Lady. His overall kit make him a force to be reckoned with, boasting high mobility, defensive capabilities, and incredible damage. All Might can even save his allies when they’re in dire need — making him the most OP character in My Hero Ultra Rumble.
These characters all have above a 19% overall win rate, standing at the top of the meta — outside of All Might of course. Playing these characters and mastering their kit is guaranteed to help players improve at the game. But at the same time, these characters are definitely at risk of receiving some nerfs in the future.

This selection of characters have a between 17-19% win rate. They’re played to relatively good success, but aren’t as consistent as the S tier characters. As long as they’re played in a solid team composition, these characters can pop off.
These characters have an overall win rate between 15.5-17% win rate. They definitely need more controlled team composition selections to see success, since they typically excel in one specific playstyle. Therefore, you might be better off not insta-locking them and analyzing your team’s picks before committing to playing these characters.
The C tier characters are honestly not very good at the current state of the game. Their kits are overshadowed by others’, who simply perform their tasks better than them.
As for Shota Aizawa, his win rates haven’t been officially revealed quite yet. But the author of this article placed him preemptively in the C tier, since he displays bugs similar to Ochaca Uraraka’s bugs prior. Uraraka’s low win rates are also likely attributed to the bugs affecting her Alpha ability. Therefore, since Aizawa is also broken in a similar fashion, he is speculated to have low win rates as well.
