Since the release of My Hero Ultra Rumble, a feature that a lot of players have been asking for is crossplay functionality. With the title on multiple platforms, some players and their friends are split up playing on different systems. However, there may just be some hope for fans. My Hero Ultra Rumble may have crossplay coming soon.

On October 6 via the MHUR Twitter page, the team let fans know that they were listening to their feedback. One of these pieces of feedback was crossplay being added to the game. There are plenty of other issues still present in the title like cheaters on PC, so crossplay in the game now would worsen that issue for console players. Once that’s fixed, then crossplay might make an appearance in the future. For now, players will have to work with playing with players on their designated platform until more information is announced.
The primary method of adding and inviting friends is directly through the platform you’re playing on. This can be either on Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, or Nintendo Switch. From there you can invite friends to the lobby and add them via their gamertag.
Once you select the game mode you want to play, a Team ID will be created. The ID itself is located at the bottom right of the screen. If friends type it in correctly they will join your lobby.
You can add friends by going to their in-game player profile and by sending them a buddy request. You can also go to your recently played section to find players you’ve grouped up with before.
As of right now, there are 18 different Heroes and Villains to choose from.
