Included as part of the October festivities, Monster Hunter Now Pink Rathian is a rare variant. Available only for a limited time, the monster provides fantastic armor and weapons — with one of the weapons now standing as the only Dragon element in the game.
During this week’s weekdays, Pink Rathian is only available from October 9 (Monday) at 9 a.m. until October 13 (Friday) at 4:59 p.m. As for the weekend, here are the availability times:
These times are for the local time zone, so hunters shouldn’t have to worry about converting the time zone. Rathian and Pink Rathian are more commonly seen in the Forest Habitat, but players must be HR 11 or above. As long as players have completed chapter 9, and unlocked Rathians, Pink Rathian should appear. This requirement is for the weekdays, with the weekends being more lenient.
In addition, the event exclusive monster is weak to Thunder and Dragon. Therefore, hunt down the Tobi-Kadachi and prepare equipment and armor appropriately.
As of the event’s debut, Pink Rathian provides the only dragon element weapon in the game. This means hunting the variant is incredibly valuable. In addition, the armor set provides great Equipment Skills, such as Critical Eye and Dragon Attack — both of which are sure to be meta.

Some players may be confused as to the Dragon Element on the bow — considering Pink Rathian is primarily known for dealing poison damage. Apparently the Pink Rathian Bow had a hidden element in Monster Hunter World, dealing Dragon damage.
But with only Bow having Dragon Element damage, and the other weapons dealing Poison, one can’t help but wonder when more Dragon element will debut in the game. After all, the armor set seems heavily catered towards Dragon element.
