There’s a wide variety of content included within Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. From the story itself, activities, collectibles, and side-missions, the possibilities are almost endless. However, there is one side-mission in the game that players find boring as they believe it takes away from the game. The end result is a few players being upset with the mission in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, there’s an optional side-mission called “Graffiti Trouble” that allows players to play as Hailey Cooper. For those who don’t know Hailey is a deaf and mute character that communicates using sign language. In this particular mission, players have to spray paint a mural as her through a mini-game. What makes this mission unique is that it deafens the gameplay sound to imitate the experience that Hailey goes through. This mission has created some controversy online among players as they feel that it “takes away from the game”, “it’s boring”, and “weird”.
While there are a few players upset with this mission in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, there are other players who do find this mission very insightful and highlight what it means to be a superhero protecting the community. Not only that, but the mission itself is completely optional and players are not required to do it at all.
Regardless of whether players are for or upset with this mission, as previously said it’s optional. For those who don’t wish to play as Hailey in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, they can skip it and move on. At the end of the day, it is just a video game. There are tons of other content featured in-game that can be done if this mission in particular isn’t enjoyable for some players.
