Marvel Cosmic Invasion Release Date

Marvel Cosmic Invasion is set to release on December 1 for the PlayStation 5, PC,  Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Cosmic Invasion is a side-scroller beat ’em up where you can play as 15 of your favorite Marvel characters as you defend New York from a Cosmic Invasion. Who would’ve guessed right? From the same minds that brought us Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, Dotemu, and Tribute Games Inc. are now tackling the Marvel Universe. Currently, Tribute Games Inc. is working on another Beat ’em up, Scott Pilgrim EX, which will release sometime in 2026. However, that’s a conversation for another day.

Story:  “A cosmic battle awaits! After Annihilus has launched an unprecedented attack across the galaxy, all life hangs in the balance. Nova, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Phyla-Vell, Captain America, and many more heroes, both earth-born and cosmic, will join forces in a star-spanning brawling adventure against the deadly Annihilation Wave. From New York City to the depths of the Negative Zone, the future of the universe will be fought across the stars in MARVEL Cosmic Invasion!”

Gameplay: In full color pixel art, Cosmic Invasion has a swap tag-team system, which allows for the Marvel heroes to pull off unique and amazing combos, which then can result in not only flashy moves but powerful ones as well. Mix and match the heroes to find the perfect dynamic duo. Speaking of the dynamic duo, Marvel Cosmic invasion will not only include local Co-op but also online play as well, accompanied by a drop-in/drop-out system. The title will also feature Cross-Platform multiplayer.
