The Madden 22 ratings have finally been unveiled. As always, there are some questionable ratings for players on every single team. In this series, TGH writers will give their opinions on the most overrated and underrated players on each roster
Here are the players on the Miami Dolphins that have been the most underrated by Madden 22
Xavien Howard
Xavien Howard is rated as a 91 overall on Madden 22. Being a 91 overall is not too shabby, but he deserves to have a few more points added to his total overall. Howard is known mostly to be a ball hawk type of player. He always seems to be in position to make a play on the ball whether it’s breaking up a pass or picking them off. Madden has his catching rating at 85, which is questionable. The Dolphins number one cornerback had 10 interceptions during the 2020 season.
Howard is also great in coverage and has the speed to stick with any receiver in the NFL. If Howard is not collecting interceptions, he is breaking up passes and making it as hard as possible for receivers to catch the ball. Howard can also tackle well, as he had 40 solo tackles in 2020. He has a special skill set and has proven himself as one of the best cornerbacks in the league.

Jason Saunders
Jason Saunders was easily one of the best kickers in the league during the 2020 season. His madden rating is 85, which is too low considering with the season he just had. Saunders only missed 3 field goals in all of 2020. Two of the field goals he missed were between 40-49 yards. Not bad when he had 14 attempts from that range.
His other missed field goal attempt was beyond 50 yards, which is obviously one of the hardest to convert. He attempted nine 50-plus yard attempts last season, his longest being a 56-yarder.
Saunders field goal percentage 92.3 percent in his 2020 campaign. Yet, Saunders’ kick accuracy rating is 93 overall. That number should at least be a 97. How much does a kicker have to show in accuracy to get a better rating? .
Madden 22 Rating: 85
Adjusted Rating: 89 (+4)
Christian Wilkins
Christian Wilkins has been one of the better young defensive lineman in the league. He is on his way to becoming a household name, as he achieved in college football circles during in his time at Clemson.
Wilkins has an overall rating of 78 in this year’s Madden 22. At 6-foot-3 and over 300 pounds, he is strong can cause chaos for the quarterback and the opposing offensive line. He had four quarterback hits in the 2020 season, adding 1.5 sacks on the year. The big defensive lineman can also use his size to deflect passes at the line scrimmage, which can frustrate the quarterback more than anything else.
He had five pass deflections during his 2020 campaign. His other stats include having 47 combination tackles and 28 solo tackles. Wilkins also had 1 interception, which can be few and far in between for a defensive lineman. His rating of 78 is a tad low, for what he has shown on the field.
Madden 22 Rating: 78
Adjusted rating: 81 (+3)
