The Life by You Release Date will be on June 4, 2024.

This game will be in early access. That means that it will not be complete and there will likely be plenty of different issues with it. That being said, the hope will be that it is completed enough for it to still be an enjoyable game. Most of Paradox Interactive games are a shell of themselves when they launch anyways but still very enjoyable and then they release a ton of DLC. Look for that to likely be the case with Life by You as well.

Will Life by You be on Xbox Game Pass?

No, Life by You will not be on Xbox Game Pass.

This may be a bit of a disappointment for many people but the game will be available on Steam and Epic Games upon launch. You can even wishlist it on Steam right now.

There is a chance it could come to Xbox Game Pass in the future. Considering it is on PC already and that Xbox fans have been used to Sims games coming out on them as well, it would be more surprising to see it not on Game Pass at some point. What could stop it is EA’s deal with Xbox Game Pass and them not wanting to compete with Life by You, especially if it ends up being a hit.

Life by You Gameplay

Life by You Gameplay will be very much like The Sims. It is clearly Paradox’s attempt at trying to steal some real estate from the game that has had little to no competition for years.

You will make your own characters and live out their lives. This will include building houses, getting jobs, getting married, having kids and so on. There are many Sims streamers and YouTubers so there is no doubt that a game from Paradox Interactive, who have so many hits, could really steal some of EA and The Sims thunder.
