Come November 20, the newest installment of Kirby Air Riders will release solely for the Nintendo Switch 2. However, if anyone can’t take the anticipation any longer, there are limited Kirby Air Riders Global Test Ride sessions taking place over the next few weekends. Here’s how to join the new Kirby Air Riders Global Test Ride and what time the big race begins
The duration of this demo will last two separate weekends. The first weekend is as follows:
If you happened to miss out on all of the air riding, the second weekend will look like this:
The test demo is free to all Nintendo Switch 2 users. Upon launch, there will be a tutorial that will teach newcomers how to traverse around the track. In between weekends, if any rust starts occurring between weekends, the tutorial will be back the next weekend to shake it off. Confirmed characters as of right now are Kirby, Meta Knight, and King Dedede, with the promise of more. This demo can be played both online and offline.

“Take on highly varied arena battles in City Trial, or race to the finish offline in Air Ride
Zip around the city of Skyah in City Trial: a free-for-all battle for 16 players online*. Roam around Skyah to find machines, collect power-ups, and survive through unpredictable Field Events ranging from falling meteors to powerful boss battles. After five minutes of powering up, you and your rivals will compete in one of a whole host of different Stadium contests, each with its own objective. These include drag races, battle arenas, skydiving for points and more, so it helps to be ready for anything!
You can also gather groups of up to 16 players in the Paddock, a lobby where you can hang out to play City Trial. (The Paddock will support up to 32 players in the full game!)
If more straightforward racing is to your liking, check out Air Ride: a frantic dash against 5 other Riders that you can play offline during the Global Test Ride. Attack opposing Riders, or trail close behind their wake, to gather up stars—and use the speed boost they provide to beat your rivals to the finish line”
