Microsoft has recently announced that coming September 14, 2023, a new subscription service called Xbox Game Pass Core will be offered to Xbox players. With this new addition, is the long-running Xbox Live service being discontinued?
After over 20 years since its initial debut back in 2002, Xbox Live will sadly come to an end following the launch of Xbox Game Pass Core. While this news may be upsetting to some, the new subscription service promises to give players more choice and value when it comes to gaming on Xbox consoles and PC.
On September 14, Xbox Live Gold members will automatically become Game Pass Core members, with no change in pricing. Below are the different subscription versions players will have access to.
Those who are Xbox Game Pass Core members will have access to the following 25 titles starting September 14.
