World of Warcraft has always been multiplayer. It would be a major surprise if this expansion was not. The whole point is to add more raid bosses for you and your friends to beat.
The World of Warcraft: The War Within Release date will be on August 26, 2024.
You are able to get the game earlier, but you will have to pay for it. This will set you back about $100 but along with a bunch of other goodies you can play the game on August 22, 2024. So you will get about four days worth of early access should you decide to pay up for it.
No, World of Warcraft: The War Within is not on Xbox Game Pass.
It seems unlikely that it will be for some time. That being said, there is a very strong reason to believe it will be in the future. With Microsoft buying Activision-Blizzard, there is a good chance that Battle.net will be absorbed into Xbox Game Pass. Once that happens, you should be able to play World of Warcraft and its older expansion on it.
The World of Warcraft: The War Within gameplay will be very similar to how World of Warcraft has been for the past decade or so.
Nothing graphically will be changing and most everything for your characters will stay the same. The only difference will be that you will be exploring completely new areas, battling new bosses and getting deeper into the story. This time you will head into the underground world of Azeroth which promises to be quite interesting.
