One of the biggest redeeming qualities of the Borderlands franchise is the excellent co-op action. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands should be no different. Typically allowing for 4 player team play, the first person shooter easily lands itself as one of the greatest loot and shoot multiplayer games in existence. But there exist some caveats to the extensiveness of multiplayer. Will there be cross play? What about PC couch co-op? These are important questions when purchasing the game. The multiplayer feature exists on all platforms, at least for online. Unlike the prevous entries, Tiny Tina’s wonderland support Cross-Play across platforms. In other words, players from Playstation can play with Xbox or PC players, and vice versa. This is largely in thanks to the developer’s hard work, alongside cooperation with Sony.
This is very fortunate news, thereby not requiring planning out with friends which platform to purchase the game on beforehand.
Now, what about coach co-op?
Split screen co-op remains a console only feature. In other words, players on steam and epic games will need to play on separate devices. There are definitely work arounds to make co-op function on PC. But these are not officially endorsed or implemented into the game, and require stronger specs than the typical solo player experience.

The Borderland games began implementing 4 player split screen quite recently. Therefore, for the console releases, it’s highly likely that 4 player split screen will remain a viable option in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. This stands as great news, since couch co-op is insanely fun. Online play functionality is great too, but nothing can truly replace the vibe that is a Borderlands Lan Party. If this option of play is available for players, definitely try to do so.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Multiplayer features will be one of the greatest selling points for the game. Though PC will likely not support split screen in the base game, there are work arounds for it. So don’t fret about that too much. In addition, Cross-play has been confirmed. Therefore, don’t worry too much about corresponding consoles with friends and family.
