With a Closed Beta completed and an Open Beta currently running players begin to wonder what is the official XDefiant release date, that is if there is one.
As of right now, there is an actual release date set for XDefiant but it’s not what gamers think. XDefiant has a release date window instead of an exact release date. Ubisoft announced during their previous Ubisoft Forward event that it will be released later this summer.
As of right now, the Year 1 Roadmap for XDefiant has confirmed the addition of 14 maps, 5 factions, and 24 maps. The Year 1 content schedule though will only include 4 new factions, 12 new weapons, and new maps. Here’s exactly what’s taking place during the next 4 seasons:
There currently is an Xdefiant Open Beta running from June 21 to June 23, This Open session is available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
“We received a lot of great feedback from our players after the end of our Closed Beta,” stated creative director Safy Saada, “and for the Open Session, we’ll likely see some new faction balancing (particularly for Libertad) based on player feedback, as well as weapon balancing based on data we’ve collected from the Closed Beta.”
