
With Demos showcases at Gamescom and trailers being shown at the Game Awards, there is a lot of anticipation for the newest Resident Evil title. Resident Evil Requiem is set to release on February 26, which is less than two months away. With previous Resident Evil games having demos in the past, gamers are anxiously waiting for the Re9 Demo. The big question, though, is whether there even is a Resident Evil Requiem demo Release date planned.
During 2025, as mentioned, there have been demos of Resident Evil Requiem floating around the internet. Most of which came from Gamescom 2025. Regarding an official demo of Resident Evil Requiem, there has been no announcement made by Capcom. Currently, there are no plans for a Re9 demo release anytime soon as we near the game’s official launch.

Resident Evil has been on two sides of the fence in the past when it comes to its gameplay. It’s usually heavily relied on either its combat features or its critical thinking with puzzles or resource management. As told during the showcase at The Game Awards, Leon’s segments will deal with more action combat segments, while Grace will have a much more “Horror” experience, dealing with the puzzles and investigations. In case some were wondering there is a feature that will allow free swapping between first-person and third-person perspectives.
