After being in Early Access For 3 years Baldur’s Gate 3 is coming to PC and PS5 players on August 3. While it was confirmed to launch on the Series X/S there has been no sign of a Baldur’s Gate 3 Xbox release date. How soon will the release date come?

As mentioned previously, Baldur’s Gate 3 does launch on August 3 on PC, via Steam and GOG, and PS5. There is an Xbox Series X|S version however it will not be released with the other platforms. The Xbox version is currently experiencing technical difficulties due to issues with the split-screen co-op on the Xbox Series S version. There has been no release date has been set for Xbox users.
In Baldur’s Gate 3, the main character along with their companions are all infected with a parasite turning them into mind flayers, which are psychic, alien tyrants. The player’s quest to remove the parasite begins after escaping their alien captors and crashing on a beach. Luckily for players, they do not have to play the other Baldurs’s Gate titles to understand what is happening in Baldur’s Gate 3.
