With every anticipated game release, it’s no surprise that Xbox gamers are wondering if the titles will be up for grabs on Gamepass. This is no different from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Game. So now the question is, is The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Gamepass worthy?

Is Texas Chainsaw Massacre Xbox Gamepass?

Good news for Xbox Gamepass subscribers, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre will be made available for free to any Xbox Game Pass Subscriber when it launches on August 18, 2023, for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS4, and PS5

Texas Chainsaw Massacre Game

While gamers can be seen comparing the Texas Chainsaw game to the popular asymmetrical horror Dead By Daylight, a better comparison to be made is with Friday The 13th The Game as both titles were developed by Gun Interactive.

Just like like with Friday The 13th The Game, players will be separated into two teams. The Victims and The Family. Both teams will have their own abilities and stats to help them achieve their goals.

The Victims

Connie

  • Connie’s Focused Ability allows her to pick a lock much faster at the cost of stamina and her Family proximity warnings, without consuming the unlock tool.

Sonny

  • Equipped with the Heightened Sense Ability Sonny has a situational awareness buff, allowing him to detect noise made by anyone nearby, pinpointing their exact location and tracking their movements.

Julie

  • Ultimate Escape allows Julie to not be tracked by the Family while also getting significantly reduced stamina drain while sprinting for a short time.

Leland

  • Leland comes with the Life Saver Ability allowing them to bump charge a Family member, stunning them.

Ana

  • With Pain is Nothing, Ana significantly reduces the damage she’ll take from attacks and falls, like jumping out windows. Her additional buff is a temporary immunity to the effects of any poison.

The Family

The Cook: SEEK

  • The Seek Ability allows the Cook to lean in and listen carefully to any strange sounds he might hear around the map. If a sound is detected, he can focus in on it, revealing the location of the Victim unfortunate enough to be making the most noise.

Sissy: BANE

  • Sissy can craft poisons from local plants and then blow the powder in the faces of Victims or use them to contaminate items around the map.

The Hitchhiker: TRAP

  • The Hitchhiker has the ability to place traps around the map that alert him when an unsuspecting Victim steps in.

Johnny: HUNT

  • Being a stalker and predator Johnny can see and track the fresh footsteps of Victims around the map.

Leatherface: MAIM

  • Leather is a unique family member that can utilize their chainsaw in a variety of ways. Of course, its primary function is to hack and slash at victims.
