The original CGI Gecko, not that insurance one, Gex is back and ready for a re-release. This platformer from the 1990s holds a special place in many players’ hearts. Here is a look at if the Gex Trilogy is Multiplayer.
As with the original game, the Gex Trilogy will be single-player.
The Gex Trilogy Release Date will be on June 16, 2025.
It will have been over 26 years since the third and final game of this franchise was released. Along with that, a remaster like this has not been released in over 12 years. It was time for this classic franchise to get in front of modern-day fans. While it likely won’t be enough to reboot the franchise, if enough players buy it then it could allow for Crystal Dynamics to consider it.

The Gex Trilogy is not expected to release on Xbox Game Pass.
That being said, it will be on Xbox Systems, PlayStation 5 and PC. So there is the possibility that Gex and his three games could find their way to Game Pass. It just may be sometime after the release.
For many, it would be a nice game to have as a part of the subscription platform.
The Gex Trilogy gameplay will be the same for all three games.
Gex, the original, was a 2-D sidescrolling game when it was released. Then the second and third games were both in 3-D. The jump into the third dimension for Gex certainly helped the game, which was once a best-seller. It saw Gex running around and taking down enemies while truly fitting into the pop culture of the 1990s.
