Publish Date: November 30, 2022

The Callisto Protocol is the next big space survival-horror game coming out in early December. Players who were interested in Dead Space will likely want to take a look at this game. Its developers have promised that it will be much more in-depth both in story through the way that people can play the game. Because of this, fans are pretty excited and will be wanting to play with their friends. But is The Callisto Protocol Co-op? Here is the answer to that question.

The Callisto Protocol is a game very reminiscent of the Dead Space series. That said, it is not only going to have a major graphic improvement but, it is going to have much more of an RPG feel to it. This is because there will be aspects like a skill tree within the game. While players are trying to survive, they will be working on new skills to make sure that the zombie-like creatures coming after them are having a rough time.

This is one of the few major games coming out in December of 2022. With so many companies having to push things back for various reasons, it certainly feels like the gaming industry has been struggling to catch up after 2020. With COVID causing a myriad of issues, so many games had to be moved back.

In terms of being able to play with a friend, the answer to that is unfortantely no. Co-op will not be a part of the game but that was intential according to the game developers. They felt as though the game would become a bit too confusing with players going everywhere. Instead, they believe that the game is best played solo as it will allow the player to focus more on the game and what they are doing.

Luckily, the Callisto protocol is making its way to players on December 2, 2022. So for those who enjoy a solo expierence, be prepared to lock-in soon.
