Well too late, Super Monkey Ball already exists and is nearing its 25th anniversary. With that, the first new game in a few years for the franchise will be coming soon in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble. The answer to is Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble Multiplayer is absolutely yes.
This franchise has thrived off being multiplayer and has always offered some mode of it. This time you will be able to play with up to three friends on your Switch and try to help AiAi find the 7 mysterious artifacts. Also you will be able to play with up to 16 people online to challenge them and battle it out in the many different ways that only Super Monkey Ball can offer.
The Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble Release Date will be on June 25, 2024.
This will be close to three years after the last game in the series. There are technically 22 versions of Super Monkey Ball. Some are variations of the same game or completely new games. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble will be a completely new game.
Unfortunately, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble will not be on Xbox Game Pass.
This should not be a major surprise as Super Monkey Ball has always been a Nintendo Exclusive game, for the most part. There was an arcade game that came out with the original game as well when it was released on the Nintendo GameCube.
There is a chance that this game or others could eventually release on PC which would give it a chance on Xbox Game Pass. But for now, you will not be able to look forward to playing it on Game Pass.
Technically, the Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble gameplay will be very similar to all of its predecessors. That being said, there will be a new adventure story for people to play through as this game is a platformer at its heart.
It will also feature a lot of customization, something not entirely new but the options are much bigger than before to really show of your choice in monkey.
Lastly, you will be able to battle online and in co-op mode to try and complete trials and so much more. Look out for more surprises once the game officially releases.
