Is Star Wars Jedi Survivor Multiplayer?

Star Wars has not had many games coming out over the past decade and those that have come out have not always satisfied the fans. One that did was Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order which followed in the steps of a brand new character, Kal Kestis. He was able to find himself and barely survived a very intense encounter when players last saw him. Now, after a few years of waiting, fans will finally get to see the next chapter in his story. Now fans will be wondering if they can fight their friends after seeing the combat in the Star Wars Jedi series. Here is whether or not Star Wars Jedi Survivor Multiplayer?

After the first game in the series, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, many fans loved the combat. It was some of the best force and lightsaber combat since the Star Wars Jedi Academy games or the Force Unleashed Games. Between the different styles of lightsabers and even the combat styles from the Star Wars Universe really making it into a video game for the first time, fans were enthralled with the way Fallen Order played.

Unfortunately, that game was just single-player.

When looking forward to the second game in what is assumed to be a trilogy, there is even more to combat than in the first game. Cal Kestis will be able to keep all of the abilities and forms that he had from the first game. But in this one they added the full ability for Cal to fight with duel-wielding, the Kylo Ren-influenced cross-guard and even shooting enemies from a distance with a blaster. Add in a ton of different customizations and this game feels primed for multiplayer.

Sadly, Star Wars Jedi Survivor will not be multiplayer according to the devs.

While there is still hope in the third game, it is starting to feel very unlikely that this franchise will get that additional support from Respawn. That being said, the feel of this game and the combat’s flow of it could lay the groundwork for future Star Wars games that see lightsaber combat in a multiplayer fashion.
