Either way, this open sandbox game will see you running around Bikini Bottom as Patrick. He will be able to interact with anything and will be trying to complete the tasks set by his friends and other residents of the town. It does not look as though SpongeBob SquarePants The Patrick Star Game will be coming to Xbox Game Pass.
There is nothing saying that it won’t but nothing stating that it will either. There is one Spongebob game on Game Pass right now. The Battle for Bikini Bottom made it. So if that is the precedent then there is a chance for a future release on Game Pass. This is especially true with it coming out on the main Xbox consoles including the Xbox One.

Considering the announcement of the game was just over the summer, this is a bit of a quick launch. But, when you consider what the game is, you should not be surprised. It is a simple game mostly aimed at children. With that in mind, it makes sense that the development time would not be very long. That should not take away from how enjoyable or generally how it is perceived.
The SpongeBob SquarePants The Patrick Star Game gameplay looks like it will be a fun sandbox game.
You can see some platformer and mini-game elements to it as well. You will have to complete tasks that include racing, flying and treasure hunting. For many, this game will likely be completed in a few short hours. But to collect everything and 100% this one, you may need extra time to find all of the hidden achievements and items.
