This is likely not a surprise but South of Midnight will be coming to Xbox Game Pass. It can be contributed to the fact that it is being published by Xbox Game Studios. All games under that banner will find their way to the latest Xbox console and Game Pass. South of Midnight will also release on Xbox Series X/S. It will be interesting to see if it makes it over to PlayStation 5 as Xbox continues to look into shifting their game release strategies.
The South of Midnight Release Date will be on April 8, 2024. This game will see you playing as Hazel and her journey to help weave together the broken bonds and spirits of this intriguing world. Set in the American Deep South after a Hurricane, Hazel will become a Weaver and learn how to use this immense power. South of Midnight comes out nearly seven years after Compulsion Games last title. The South of Midnight gameplay features a take on the traditional action-adventure genre with a third-person perspective. As a Weaver, Hazel will fight bosses and her way through the American Deep South as mentioned above. There are spirits and enemies that many may recognize from crocodiles to catfish. It is certainly a relatively unexplored area and one that should certainly be unique if nothing else.
