The Saints Row reboot is just around the corner. Before the game launches in August players are beginning to wonder, is Saints Row Cross-Play? Here’s everything gamers need to know about the title.
Cross-Play
Saints Row Cross-Play will be present in the upcoming title. However, this is only limited to Cross-Generation. This means that gamers can play on Xbox One with Xbox Series X/S gamers and PS4 players with other PS5 players. Deep Silver has no news on whether Saints Row would be Cross-Platform upon the title’s release.
The Reboot
This Saints Row reboot, titled Saints Row, takes place in Santo Ileso a fictional city in the heart of the American SouthWest. Players will be introduced to an all-new cast, places, and much more. The game was originally planned to release in February 2022, however, it was delayed for 6 months. Volition in response to the delay explained, that it was due to the size and scope of the game that caused the delay. The team needed more time to satisfy fans and “to create the best game possible.”
The franchise started as itself started as the notorious gang the third street saints taking out rival gangs and crime syndicates. As the series progressed things took a more humorous turn involving computer simulations, dubstep guns, beefed-up clones, and much more absurdities.
In the Saints Row reboot the player teams up with gang members, Kevin, Neenah, and El starting their criminal empire from the ground up. The saint’s competition includes the three main criminal gangs of Santo Ileos. The Los Pantero, The Idols, and Marshall Defense Industries. Each of the gangs has its specific quirks. Santo Ileos is divided up into nine districts where the Saints can fight and take control of.
Special Editions
No matter what version of the game is being played pre-ordering any edition of the Saints Row reboot rewards players with the Idols Anarchy Pack. This pack features The Idols DJ Helmet, the Twinkle Bat, and the Sandstorm Scrambler.

In terms of variety and customization, players will have a library of weapons and vehicles available to customize personally. The character creation option also received an in-depth customization system with skin textures, asymmetrical face shapes, cosmetics, and even sets of prosthetics.
