With Xbox increasing the price of Xbox Game Pass to $30, one would think that all anticipated releases would be included in the service. Capcom’s upcoming Resident Evil 9 falls under that same category as well. So now the question is, will Resident Evil Requiem be on Xbox Game Pass once it releases on February 26, 2026?
So there’s bad news and some hopeful news. The bad news is that at launch, Resident Evil Requiem will not be on Xbox Gamepass Day 1. Now here’s where the hopeful news comes in. Xbox is no stranger when it comes to the Resident Evil franchise. These are the following Resident Evil titles are available on Xbox.
Both Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 3 are currently available on Xbox Gamepass. With these titles being available to subscriber holders, it’s not impossible to see Resident Evil Requiem make that list one day as well. Just don’t expect it to happen in the near future.

Resident Evil has been on two sides of the fence in the past when it comes to its gameplay. It’s usually heavily relied on either its combat features or its critical thinking with puzzles or resource management. As told during the showcase at The Game Awards, Leon’s segments will deal with more action combat segments, while Grace will have a much more “Horror” experience, dealing with the puzzles and investigations. In case some were wondering there is a feature that will allow free swapping between first-person and third-person perspectives.
Game Description:

Both of their journeys and unique gameplay styles intertwine into a heart-stopping, emotional experience that will chill you to your core.’
