Is Octopath Traveler 0 Multiplayer?

Octopath Traveler branched off from their original formula, and for the first time in the series, players can fully customize their own protagonist.  There will be over 30 characters, and you can hold a party of 8 companions. With 8 people on a team and with traditional norms being broken in this installment, is Octopath Traveler 0 multiplayer?

Even with a party of 8 people, sadly, in Octopath Traveler 0, we can’t invite our friends to be part of that party. An unofficial way to have multiplayer is to assign a character in the party to a friend and simply pass the controller or mouse to them when it’s their turn. If distance is an issue, you could always stream the game and control their assigned character for them. It’s not official and all too very exciting, but it is an alternative that’s better than nothing.

Octopath Traveler 0 Features

For the first time in the series, players can fully customize their own protagonist. This can range from appearance to character skills. With over 30 characters and a party of 8 companions, there sure isn’t going to be a dull moment. Not only does character making make its debut, but town building will also be a prominent feature.

Story:

Town Building:

• “Town building makes its debut in the OCTOPATH TRAVELER series! Rebuild your hometown to your vision and invite your allies and those you meet on your travels to move in.”

Character Creation:

• “Start from zero and create your own protagonist – for the first time in the OCTOPATH TRAVELER series. Customize everything from your appearance, voice, hairstyle, and hair colour to your favorite food and skills! The hero of the story is you!”
