The new Mario Tennis Fever allows gamers to hit the courts online with up to four players. However, to play any Nintendo Switch title online, you’ll need to have a Nintendo Switch Online Membership. For those who are opting out of the membership, online play may be impractical, but Mario Tennis Fever Local Multiplayer could be an option.
Mario Tennis Fever can be played locally on four separate controllers. If players want to swing their Joy-Con controllers like an actual racket, they can turn on Swing Mode. Fever Rackets are a new addition to the Mario Tennis franchise. These special rackets allow characters to build up a gauge when filled, allowing the racket to release special effects. There are a total of 30 fever rackets to discover and choose from, and all players have access to them. Like traditional tennis regulation, you can only play a singles or doubles match.
