Is Hogwarts Legacy Multiplayer Co Op or Online?

Harry Potter fans and gamers alike are preparing for the release of Hogwarts Legacy. While the game does feature a vast open world outside of Hogwarts can you explore it with a friend? Does Hogwarts Legacy feature multiplayer?

Study Buddies Prohibited

As fun, as it could’ve been, Hogwarts Legacy will not be a multiplayer experience. This is a journey that gamers will start and be finished by themselves.

Everything To Know

Multiplayer isn’t the only feature on gamers’ minds when it comes to Hogwarts Legacy. As the game is close to its launch there’s no doubt that players must have different questions and thoughts about how Hogwarts Legacy will play. Here is everything confirmed to be included and left out of the title.

1. While keeping the concept of sorcery and witchcraft, Hogwarts Legacy will not have special ties to the Harry Potter storylines. It’s an open-world, action RPG set in the 1800s wizarding world.
2. Hogwarts Legacy will be available for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®4 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, Nintendo Switch, and PC. However, the release date for past-gen consoles is April 4, 2023. July 25, 2023, for Nintendo Switch.
3. Players can manually choose their Hogwarts House.
4. Link a Harry Potter Fan Club account and earn a free Beaked Skull Mask and exclusive House Fan-Atic Robes in-game.
5. Characters’ appearances can be fully customized along with their fighting style.
6. There is no morality system. (Example: Mass Effect’s Renegade vs Paragon)
7. Although broom travel is available, there will be no opportunity to play quidditch.
8. Magical mounts can be ridden.
9. Players can attend Charms, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, and Potion classes.
10. Spells can be mixed and matched to find a suitable combat style.
11. No Microtransactions
12. An Open World experience beyond Hogwarts.
13. Relationships with other students can be established.
