The world of hero shooters continues to grow with FragPunk. This one has a bit of a different feel and spin with it bringing an interesting vibe and a completely new mechanic with Shard Cards. In a combination of Call of Duty and VALORANT, here is a look at FragPunk and its Pre Order Bonuses.

The FragPunk Release Date will be on March 6, 2025. FragPunk will be a Free to Play game and will be one that does have a Pioneer Bundle that you can purchase to help support the game. This will feature different weapon skins along with the Premium version of the Battle Pass. It will be heading into a pretty competitive market with Overwatch 2, VALORANT and the newly arrived Marvel Rivals all fighting for player hours. It will be worth watching to see if it will be able to carve out a dedicated fanbase.

FragPunk will likely not be on Xbox Game Pass. That is because it will be on the Xbox Store as a Free game. In fact, it will be Free to Play on all platforms other than the Nintendo Switch. This should not be a major surprise but it will be interesting to see if the game finds success that it could get added to the Nintendo Switch 2 lineup in the future.
The FragPunk gameplay is very similar to most hero shooters other than in one way. The addition of Shard Cards certainly keeps things interesting and keeps players on their toes. They will have to see what their opponents and allies are using and have to adapt to them all. There are over 100 different Shard Cards that were seen in the closed beta and ranged from making opponents’ heads bigger to adding an Extra Site to attack. There are many different combinations and we are excited to see what players will come up with.
