With access to an EA Play Membership gamers can receive special treatment with EA Sports PGA Tour. Does that treatment involve Xbox Gamepass Subscribers? Is EA Sports PGA Tour Xbox Gamepass?
Access Denied
While it is true that EA Play subscribers receive a benefit with EA Sports PGA Tour, the title being on Xbox Gamepass isn’t one of them. EA Play members can purchase the title at a discounted price. It wouldn’t be a surprise if EA decided to place the game on Gamepass in the future as they’ve done so with their other sports titles.

The Delay
EA Sports PGA Tour was to be originally released for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5 on March 24. EA recently sent out a tweet stating the new release date will be now set to April 7. This new release date will now be during the PGA Masters tournament, one of the biggest professional golf tournaments. EA stated, “This small shift in release date allows us to add a few final touches to the game that we are very excited to deliver to all of you”
