Is Crimson Desert On Xbox Gamepass?

With Xbox increasing the price of Xbox Game Pass to $30, one would think that all anticipated releases would be included in the service. Pearl Abyss’s Crimson Desert falls into the same category as well. So now the question is, will Crimson Desert be on Xbox Game Pass once it releases on March 19, 2026?

Crimson Desert On Xbox Gamepass

Xbox Gamepass subscribers will not see Crimson Desert make its introduction to the subscription service. Not all hope is lost, however. The Black Desert Online, also created by Pearl Abyss, arrived on the Xbox Game Pass service back in September 2020. Due to a change in MS policies on August 31st, 2023. Xbox Gamepass has put popular and anticipated titles on the service before, so don’t count Crimson Desert completely out of the running. Just don’t expect it too soon.

Crimson Desert is its own single-player title. While similar themes and maybe even some references to Black Desert Online may be present, that’s solely because the two titles occupy the same theme. There has been no confirmation of the two existing in the same universe. Crimson Desert will have players follow Greymane Kliff, who has suffered a devastating ambush by the Black Bears, leaving fellow Greymanes dead or scattered across the continent. It’s now up to Kliff to rebuild the fallen Greymanes by forging alliances and facing whatever dangers lie in the wake of Pywel. Gameplay-wise, Crimson Desert lets players experiment with a variety of skills, weapons, and equipment to discover different playstyles. This is all thanks to the game’s combat and progression system. Through acquiring artifacts in-game, players can discover new skills to further expand their combat and exploration capabilities.
