Is Code Vein 2 On Xbox Game Pass?

Publish Date: December 29, 2025

With Xbox increasing the price of Xbox Game Pass to $30, one would think that all anticipated releases would be included in the service. Bandai Namco’s upcoming Code Vein 2 falls under that same category as well. So now the question is, will Code Vein 2 be on Xbox Game Pass once it releases on January 30, 2026?

Is Code Vein II on Xbox Game Pass?

So there’s bad news and some hopeful news. The bad news is that at launch, Code Vein 2 will not be on Xbox Gamepass Day 1. Now here’s where the hopeful news comes in. The original Code Vein was released on Gamepass but was removed in 2022. With the original Code Vein making a Game Pass appearance, that means that there’s still time for Code Vein 2 to make its debut. Although the game releases on January 30, I wouldn’t expect it to reach the subscription service in the near future. Patience will definitely be a virtue.

Gameplay Breakdown

In Code Vein 2, a mysterious force called Luna Rapacis is corrupting Revenants, turning them into Horrors. Partnered up and guided by a girl named Lou, players will be traveling through time, both past and present. The objective,  alter key revenants’ destinies that reveal hidden truths and information to save the future from the Luna Rapacis. Instead of creating a whole new combat system, Bandai Namco actually develops Code Veins’s previous combat. This means that signature partner-based combat and Blood Code systems will be making their return, along with some new mechanics to keep gamers on their toes. For instance, Players can also forge bonds with allies who do not fight alongside but can also enhance certain abilities. In addition, there are also two new weapons to choose from. The Rune Blades and Dual Swords. At the end of the day, you can still freely customize weapons and skills to suit your own battle styles.

Games Description: “In a future world where humans and Revenants coexist…Due to the sudden appearance of the Luna Rapacis, Revenants have transformed into mindless monsters called Horrors. As a Revenant hunter, the player shall halt the world’s inevitable collapse by traveling to the past with a girl called Lou, who possesses the power to manipulate time. An epic adventure awaits, where you and your chosen partners explore a post-apocalyptic world, face fierce battles against powerful enemies, and uncover an epic story that transcends time.”
